Privacy policy
We only collect what we need to quote and carry out your job, and we never sell your details.
Last updated: October 2026
This policy explains how Living Colour Limited (“Living Colour”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information. We follow the information privacy principles in the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
When you contact us by phone, email or through our website forms, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, suburb or property address, details about the work you need, and any photos you choose to send. When you visit our website, our hosting provider may record standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type for security and performance.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote
- To arrange site visits and carry out the work
- To invoice you and keep business records
- To follow up after a job, for example to ask for a review
We don’t sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we don’t add you to marketing lists without your permission.
Who we share it with
We only share your information when it’s needed to do the job: for example with a colour specialist, scaffolder or cleaner working on your project, with our accountant, or where the law requires it. Website form submissions are processed by our website host, Netlify, and may be stored on servers outside New Zealand.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and only keep it as long as we need it for the purposes above or to meet legal and tax obligations.
Third-party services
Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts and shows a Google Map on the contact page. These services may collect technical information under their own privacy policies. Links to Google reviews and Builderscrack take you to sites with their own privacy terms.
