Andy painted the whole exterior of our two-storeyed house. I found Andy to be honest and a man of his word. He completed the job to a high standard and within the time-frame indicated. I particularly appreciated his excellent communication with me, including ongoing photos of his progress due to my now living in a different city. I highly recommend Andy.

Andy and his team did an excellent job of painting and staining my house. They worked quickly and carefully and got the job done in good time. Living Colour is owner-operated. When you call, you talk to the person who will visit, quote, run the job, check the team’s work and keep you posted until it’s done.
Our background covers homes, offices, shops and schools, including five years of new-build work for Fletcher Living at Red Beach and Horncastle at Millwater, and insurance reinstatement work for Vero. On bigger jobs we organise the scaffolders and cleaners too, so you only deal with one person.

Are your quotes free?
Yes. Quotes are free and there’s no obligation. For most jobs we come and look at the work in person, then send you a written, itemised quote so you can see exactly what’s included.
Which paints do you use?
We use quality Resene and Dulux paints, matched to the surface and the conditions. If you have a particular product or colour range in mind, just let us know.
What happens if it rains?
Exterior paint needs dry surfaces and the right temperature to cure properly, so we won’t paint outside in the rain. We keep an eye on the forecast, shift to prep or interior work where we can, and tell you early if the timeline moves.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry public liability insurance up to $2,000,000 and defective-workmanship cover up to $100,000. The owner also holds a Site Safe passport and is certified for working at heights and elevating work platforms.
Do you take on small jobs?
Yes. No job is too big or too small: a single room, a bathroom, a fence or a few repairs before you sell. Small jobs get the same prep and care as big ones.
